Hello! Remember us? The dolls who were supposed do a post about their Christmas ages ago? Yeah, sorry! So here I am, India and me, Garnet. Today we’re going to do our long awaited (though I don’t think anyone reads this) Christmas post! So here we are, sipping hot cocoa and clutching hot water bottles to our chests, typing like mad things. I, India will be in black and I, Garnet will be in purple. So starting off,our Christmas post!
We were waiting for Jesme to arrive. Ivy was working herself up. She kept pestering me with questions. “Will she still like me?” “Do you think she’ll find me babyish?” “Is she the same?” I almost cried! This was so overwhelming for both of us. I worry too much about my little sister.
There was a moment of silence and then suddenly Ivy shrieked! “JESME!!!” They were both laughing with excitement. As I watched I wished I was a sister. I had always wanted to cheer up a sad sister or smile fondly at an adventurous sister. How nice it would be to get one!
Ivy and Jesme sat down and had some time to gossip and catch up with each other. Suddenly tears filled my eyes. Before Ivy met Jesme I always felt something was missing. She wasn’t as happy as she could be. When she met Jesme she was a different person. She actually bothered to get out of bed. When Jesme went she was the saddest even when she was having fun.
As a big sister this always upset me and now she was happy again! I had to cry! Wouldn’t you?
Jesme showed Ivy some of her toys that she brought with her. She had a purple unicorn and a
mini littlest pet shop. I almost wished I collected lps after I saw the sprinkle-y owl!
Suddenly Ivy noticed her big sister was crying and Jesme noticed so was her big sister, so they ran over and swept them up in a big hug. Emerald looked at me with a “I wish I could have a sister” look and I gave her a “You’ll get one soon” look. Sometimes I almost wished Emerald was .
my sister. Ivy and Jesme sat on top of my bed and talked about new things they had found out about and recommended blogs to each other. She even put in a word about our blog! Jesme was really impressed about our blog, you would of thought that we published a book or something and it sold better than Jacqueline Wilson’s books or something!
Suddenly from above we heard someone exclaim “Cool! It looks like a mummified body!” “That’s most likely to be Emerald looking at the presents you put under the tree!” I said
Soon it was time for a story and the two pairs of sisters snuggled together and listened. While India read a story out loud, she is such a good reader! I felt sorry for Emerald who had nobody’s lap to snuggle on or anybody to sit on her lap. I could tell she was trying hard not to cry.
India read aloud “It was nearly Christmas time and Santa Claus and all his helpers were very busy making thousands of toys in the work shop bellow Santa’s castle.” I concentrated on the words, forming a clear picture in my mind. “Tops were humming, rocking horses were rocking, trains were rattling round on their rails and teddy bears were practicing their growls.” India
continued. She read the whole story to us like, like, she was performing it! It was amazing! I’ve never seen her like that!

Soon India and Emerald were taking their pillows downstairs, it was almost time for bed!!

After a long time everyone was sitting on their bed and having a long chat. I could hear Emerald rambling on and on about why David Tennant was her favorite doctor.
Even quiet Ama was talking 24/7! You could tell Christmas was just a few hours away.
Everyone found it hilarious that Emerald insisted bringing her Dr Who collection down!
Soon it began to get dark! Everyone was chattering excitedly, they couldn’t wait!

Everyone insisted that India read another christmas book. So she did. Being less embarrassed

she read even better than last time! Then it was time to hang our stockings!! My insides were like champagne, bubbling up inside me.

Soon it was christmas morning! I opened our stocking. Inside was:
some stripy glasses,
a hello kitty puzzle,
a snowflake clip,
gel pens (Squee!!!),
a blind bag pony (Shoeshine) and collectors card,
and MINI lalaloopsies!!!! Oh.My.Gosh. The lalaloopsy mermaid is SUPER cute!!
I got to keep the gel pens and super cute mermaid!! Yay!!
Suddenly mum handed me a box. It,it had CECILE in it!!!!!! OH MY GOSH!!!! HER CURLY HAIR IS SOOOO AMAZING!!! With a shriek of delight I began to open the box.
Only stopping to have a glance at the book I FINALLY got to cradle Cecile in my arms, just like I had been longing to do since I laid my eyes on her.
Everything about her is amazing! Her curly hair, the roses on her dress, her tiny boots, EVERYTHING!!!
With a sigh of delight I closed my eyes and wrapped Cecile up in the hug she deserved.
Whilst mum opened her presents I read ‘Meet Cecile’ it was great!
Later, after lunch, we all got to open our presents from father christmas. I was SO hoping for a diary! Ivy received some disney hair clips with her second favorite princess on, Cinderella!
Emerald got an I-pod!! We were all SUPER jealous but she promised us all a go on it! 🙂
Ama got a mini my little pony! She called it Cotton Candy! 🙂
I got some ICE SKATES!!! I’ve been wanting to skate for EVER! Mum also said that she will get some lessons sorted out for me!! 😀
I got, OH MY GOSH! A DIARY! And just my favorite colour too!!

I LOVE christmas!!

Then we opened our stocking presents from mum. I got a ginger squinkie and I got a blonde one! Ivy got a tiny fairy (from sleeping beauty) and Emerald got a dalek badge. Ama got a cat rubber.

Since Jesme didn’t have a stocking present we let her open our stocking box. It was full of the cutest little polly pockets!!! 🙂
